No one likes a stuffy hot space. One way to introduce fresh air and release heat is through Architen Ventilation. Architen Ventilation is an engineered system comprising hinged ETFE panels incorporated in the design of the ETFE system.
Actuated panels can be manually opened, or sensors can be connected to the Building Management System to automatically open when heat levels get too high.
As an option, opening panels can contribute to the building’s fire strategy. In this case, this system is triggered by the fire alarm/temperature setting, which can open the hinged panels for smoke ventilation.
